Below are some typical requirements pertaining to positions with AMK9. Not all positions have the same requirements.
- Completion of recognized K-9 Training Academy
- Valid Passport
- United States 'Secret' level clearance
- Able to deploy overseas and pass US Government established health check
- Capable of completing US Government mandated CRC course
- Basic skill with both rifle (M4) and pistol (Glock 17/19)
- Basic computer skills
Currently we are looking for US, Canadian, British, or Australian Explosive Detector Dog Handlers for contracts in Afghanistan.
Must possess:
- Country specific 'Secret' level clearance
- Valid passport
- 2 years experience with Explosive Detector Dog
